College grants have been available to single parents–especially single moms–for some time, but the way they were, and in some cases still are, set up, canceled out their benefits.

What do I mean by that? In many states in the USA, student aid is classified as income, in which case it impacts a person’s welfare benefits. And since most mothers would rather feed their families before they consider their own education, or anything else, this student aid has been largely ignored, and rightfully so.

So, what has changed? Why should you be taking a close look at college grants now? Well, the Federal government has mandated that more monies be made available to assist single moms in getting a better education. And with that, maybe the vicious cycle of poverty can be broken.

Not too long ago, the women of America were destined to work out of the household. Their job was to take care of the children while the man worked at a job. Obama’s ‘government Grants For Debt Relief’ Program - Hope For Millions Of Debt-ridden Americans!

We are living in tough economic times. Everyone has been affected by the recession. Although there is no simple solution, the federal government has implemented programs to aid in the relief of debt for the average American.

We are all aware of aid given to big businesses, banks and other lending institutions to help offset the negative debt on their books. Federal dollars have been given to individual states to aid in paying for state programs in need of funding. But, how has the federal government helped the little guy, the average American citizen drowning in debt?

Government grants, although not a new program, requires the government to make available millions of dollars annually in the form of grants. Anyone age 18 or over and an American citizen qualifies to apply for these grants.
